its the only game that has a realistic plot seeing as team rocket actually ahs an achievable goal but you really got to wonder why they would stop at that? i mean the neigbooring region essentially has birds of life and spiritual world ad they say ok to seeling weepingbells for pocket change? why not go after a legendary bird? im sure that would be worth a ton? and if not would suit giovanni for a big piece of moltress leg for dinner.

Gen 1 was Actually Hard it was no fun! My rival always was stronger than my charizard with his blastoise and I could never beat it. New gens are better, I can Actually enjoy the story and not be stuck grinding

I miss infinite weather, well at least GF brought some good new good mons for competitive like Talonflame, but fuck man some of those megas are straight up broken, good thing they're banned, along with Greninja and Aegislash. I mean how am I expected to play against something that unpredictable and I might be able to check it only with perfect plays. And I can't believe Mega Rayquaza, when something's broken even in Ubers, you know something's wrong.

nowpersonally to me, the line never stood out, it would seem as if it ws just another road in the block, at what point did an NPc tell me i was supposed to have a pokeball and open space to get a shedinja?
this thing has so much potentual but game freak ruined it, its supposed to be a ninja then how come its so useless at every stage. in my opinion this line would be alot better if there was a super secret shinobu altar where only nincada could be found, with a grand cutscene revealing the deeper lore of how come you get a shedinja upon evoluton.
and also, replace raquaza in the emerald story segment and replace it with your ninjask whooping kyogre and groudons ass, would make me appreciate the line alot more story wise

Nincada is completely outclassed in little cup and while it does have that high defense and highly beneficial resistances to fighting and ground, there's no real point in using it. Ninjask was useful for baton pass teams but there are better Speed Boost BPers, not to mention that this is now banned so unless you want to use Ninjask in Ubers (like anyone would do that) to accomplish that, it is not very good since it's unable to capitalize on it's high speed because of it's mediocre attack and that total lack of bulk means it has little to no staying power. Now Shedinja is interesting as that amazing ability allows it to wall many potential threats but with 1HP you absolutely need a magic bouncer to punish status inducers and have a way to remove hazards if you want to have Shedinja amount to anything.

not just is it a pokemon that is pretty specific but you can actually feel upon having a lucario that THIS this is a very special mon.
i love how they even made a lucario alter to it in gen 6, at last a regular pokeon is on the level of a legendary pokemon lore wise.
just wish theyd do the same for every pokemon, even legendaries these days dont get the treatment lucario does
