Sidney didn't stand a chance against Flamethrower and Sky Uppercut (For the Crawdaunt).
Surf and Flamethrower handled Phoebe pretty well.
Lost Dwayne when he missed with his 3rd sky uppercut vs. Glacia, but she fell when I managed to get off 4 howls with Minaj and she stomped the rest of Glacia's team to death.
Pearl spamming Ice Beam killed Drake's team dead.
With Dwayne dead I had no direct counter for Water. Lost Pearl from stupidity. Finally hit on doing this: Dr. Teeth, Dragon Dance, Hyper Beam. Switch to Minaj. Howl, then Hyper Beam. That worked, but I lost Minaj.
But now it is over.
What game should I try next? This was the latest gen I've ever played.
Falstaff's skills in boasting weren't matched by his skills in battle, sadly.
Though that did pave the way for a new team member, and a new romance. They bonded whilst wrecking Winona's gym. :3

Brock was apparently supposed to be a lot harder, but Onix used Swagger on StabBunny, who never hit himself once. It was beautiful.

Anyone have any suggestions to make a FireRed nuzlocke less easy?
I'm tired of finishing with boxes of Pokemon and 0 deaths.
I'm going normal rules plus:
No buying items except Pokeballs.
Limited number of Pokeballs per Mart(not sure what a good balanced number would be).
No items in battle.
Once I enter a dungeon/gym there's no leaving to heal, even if it's clear my team is going to get wiped.
No catching dupes, if I already have the first Mon to appear I can't catch anything in that area.
Some FUCKING Masquerain in the Kalos beach route killed my fucking Brobat and nearly killed all my mons, what the fuck.

Here is my current run, started last night. So a themed run like my Gardener run from previous if anyone saw that ages ago. Had a bit of a slip up with Boulder while training, took one too many screeches and a solid tackle from a fellow Onix while training.
Rest is going well, glad Sinnoh has some variety when it comes to ground types. Also first time raising a Shellos, kinda forgot how cute they can be.

I wasn't expecting Solrock in Mt. Moon. I was trying to level Stab Hands. Livewire evolved, gaining both Thunder Punch and Ice Punch, which allowed him (with Karate Chop) to steamroll everything in Mt. Moon. I've tried to even out the levels a little bit, but it looks like my main two are going to be SpikeBunny and Livewire.
None of Misty's Pokemon survived a single Thunder Punch.

Speaking of images, heres my super late updated one from the past few days.
I lost my Taillow, O'Doil, in the most dumbass way possible. the plusle I caught was holding a cell battery, and I thought "oh cool, I'll use that on the bird so I can sweep mauville with boomburst and focus energy", so I gave it to him.
Didn't realize you still had to eat the attack for cell battery to go off. Yeah, I'm a dumbass.
I just threw kipler at the rest of the mons until I won the battle. Goddamn.
I tried to level up a whismur to replace him, but it got critted while leveling so I just used my next capture which was actually really nice
a dex nav ping went off and it was a no gaurd machop with bullet punch at +10 levels, so I got a free replacement without much effort. Kinda cheesy though, still not too sure about using dex nav for this.
We had some evolutions, too. I didn't realize Mightyena was so small.. or that breloom was almost as big as the average person.
