What if Alan ends up noticing Puni-chan with Bonnie in episode 24? He hadn't seen Z2 until after his first battle with Ash so he had no reason to take notice of Z1 back then, but this time it could be different. Maybe he reports it to Lysandre and that leads to the heroes being attacked again a few episodes later.

So I just finished watching all the subbed episodes and I've been wondering. Why is it that [PM] uses the English names of moves, but the Japanese names of Pokemon, Trainers, etc.?
Seems to me it would be easier to just go with one or the other rather than switch like that.

Most English names for the moves are straight translations of the Japanese ones, and had they translated the others directly, you wouldn't be able to tell what move it was.
Did we ever get to see any of Cynthia's other pokemon in the anime? Whenever I think of diantha I feel like she's to reliant on her gardevoir. Also on that note,what if ash is told that he relies too much on greninja and decides to try using some of his other pokemon like charizard but has to go on multiple quest to find the mega stone of one of his old pokemon while at the same time having a bonding episode with that pokemon

Well, for the trainers and such it's because there's no English name for them and instead of going with some English/some Japanese it's easier to stick with all in Japanese.
As for the Pokemon, you're already using Japanese names for people so you might as well do it for the Pokemon. Attack names are already known by everyone so they just translate that.

There's usually one or two extra Serena spaghetti scenes that aren't spoiled whenever they make an effort to promote the ship for an episode. I liked all of May's pokemon except her last two. Her team in Hoenn + Munchlax was fine. The writers just screwed up by giving her Squirtle, and Eevee was just a preview to Glaceon anyway so I can see why the latter was rushed.

Compare Bonnie and Clemont relationship with May and Max. Clemont loose a slot in his team just to give his little sister a Pokemon she could take care off, if I remeber well he was also willing to catch Tyrantrum just to make her sister happy. May didn´t give a fuck about Max being sad over having to be separated from the mon he bonded, instead she filled her team with shitty baby mons. She also dropped him like hot potato when she moved to Johto, she didn´t bother to tell him privately, instead she told him the same way as if was Ash and Brock, and I don´t believe her "I will depend too much on you" excuse, she just don´t wanted to have him around. It was Brock and Ash who were more worried about his feelings.

May had one of the best developed personalities of the main girls that changed and grew as the saga progressed. The Contests became popular, May did some of the most on-screen battling of all the main girls other than Dawn, she had popular interactions with her rivals Drew/Harley, and she also has a lot of funny and comedic moments.
Outside of maybe Kanto-era Misty, I think May has the most amount of funny/humorous moments of all the main girls, especially in the beginning of Hoenn. May had a silly/clumsy side to her personality that none of the other girls do, and it made her amusing to watch.
