Therefore he's going to be featured in 24, 25 and 26.

Counting a mid-December SM release and two more breaks, there will be 25 more episodes after XY&Z29. The league never takes more than 7 or 8 episodes, and even if you assume Ash wins it, that would only add up a couple more episodes at most (not counting Elite Four plus Diantha which are technically not Pokémon League but Champion League). TF will definitely take less than 15 more episodes, they're almost at the endgame if we assume the final confrontation will be similar to the one in the OP.
