Get rid of Garbodor's ears.

Get rid of Vanillite and make Vanillish/Vanilluxe a 2-stage.

Trubbish is my favorite Poison type because it's cute and garbage, just like me. Garbodor is OK but definitely uglier. I like the Vanillite line a lot, but I wish the stat spread wasn't so unfocused.

They're from my favourite gen so I have a soft spot for them. They're not that great, though.

I think for what it is, the Vanilluxe line is pretty well designed and looks good, I just think it's subject matter is fucking dumb.

Garbodor is irredeemable

If they were going for a repulsive trash monster unaware of its own repulsiveness, then spot on. I notice the mouth is unnaturally high on Garbodor's face for some reason.

>Vanillite/Vanillish/Vanilluxe
I don;t have a problem with an ice cream Pokemon, because I love ice cream and Pokemon. That said, all three of them are desperately looking for another theme they can merge themselves with, like some sort of animal. Maybe Tortoises or Snails.

Garbodor is great and a welcome addition the the Pollution 'Mons (Muk line, Weezing line).

I'm not a big fan of Vanilluxe, but I like Vanillite and Vanillish, especially once I learned what they look like without the snow.

>>

>That said, all three of them are desperately looking for another theme they can merge themselves with, like some sort of animal.

Fuck that. They're ice elementals in the vein of Cryogonal, but based on icicles. Snow then collects on their surface and makes them look like ice cream cones. They've already got two things going for them.
>>
>>25887061
I don't really care about Garbodor but I think the Vanillite line is cute and tasty
>>
>>25887061
Trubbish line is ok as it continues the mutated waste theme. Just wish Garbador didn't look like shit. The face in particular, it doesn't look grotesque, just bad.

Fuck Vanillite and its whole line. Being living icicles that just "happen" to look like ice cream. Vanilluxe is the worst with its fucking straw.
>>
>>25887290
>That said, all three of them are desperately looking for another theme they can merge themselves with
Snowman? With 3 snowballs stacked on each other so it also looks like a 3-scoop ice cream cone.
>>
>>25887396
At least it's implied that in the Pokemon universe, ice cream was inspired by the vanilluxe line and not the other way around.
>>
>implying they are not the two best single designs ever
>>
>>25887396
I bet a realistic drawing of Trubbish and Garbadour by the right artist would make them look much more grotesque and artful than their official sprites/portraits.

Does the Klink line get less hate than Vanillite and Trubbish because

or

I have nothing against the idea of a ruptured trash bag golem, I'm just disappointed that it doesn't even look like garbage. Damn thing looks like plush stuffing and candy.
Vanillite is cute but in any other generation it would have been left as a one-stage gimmickmon. Vanilluxe is like taking a joke that was barely funny the first time and just dragging it out until you hate the original joke.

>>25887588
My problem is that they're cute gears. Gears aren't supposed to be cute. Gears should be the grinding indicators of the high-power, slow-moving march of industry in a war-machine.
Not a bunch of cutesy children's toys.

Klinklang should be a sinister steel and dark/ghost type that hides in abandoned factories doing sinister things.

>>
People also forget about Chandelure and Cofagrigus. Why the fuck do they get a pass when they are object Pokémon too? And then there's Aegislash. In fact, every generation has Pokémon that arent animals. Fuck this double standard
>>
Garbador is just one of those Pokemon I can't see myself ever using.

Kind of like Muk and Weezing to be honest so he fits right in.
>>
>>25887916
Will 'o wisps, poltergeists, and mummies are all established "spooky" monsters, and more importantly, they don't look fucking stupid.
>>
>>25887916
Those are all objects possessed by spirits, which is a fair justification, although a bit repetitive nowadays.
Trubbish being mutated trash is also alright.
Vanilluxe is not.
>>
>>25888058
I like to think that the Pokemon world was the aftermath of a world-shattering supernatural war where most of the animals and many objects were posessed by spirits meant to be used as weapons- hence their ability to heed commands, destructive powers, and their frequent similarities to real-life animals.
Humanity was then knocked back into the stone age by the war, and remade their lives with pokemon by their sides. Legendaries like Arceus and Mew were simply spirit-remnants of superweapons that may of may not have been used at the war's end.
>>
>>25888058

Why is Vanilluxe not okay?
>>
I only mind the objectmons when I think too much about them. Like, the Trubish line is cool and all, but the idea of raising and loving mutated waste? It having emotions and loving me back? That stuff is just odd in my eyes.
It's off because magneton line is one of my favorites. I guess theres enough of a difference.
I don't get the hay for Vanil, the line is cute in all three stages.
The gears are also cute, and cool, and i want a choo-choo mega ever since that fake.

>>
>>25888425

Yes, they're pretty cool.
>>
>>25888325
Vanillite and Vanillish are tolerable. But Vanilluxe runs the concept into the ground by looking just like ice cream, even down to the straw. Without any particularly good in-universe reason for such a striking resemblance.

Related: Boo-boo keys are still the fucking worst pokemon. Every other "something came to life" pokemon comes from something incredibly common and with potential to appear. Klefki, while not actually "something came to life," is associated with a SINGLE FUCKING HOTEL HAVING LOTS OF KEYS SO KLEFKI SHOWED UP. Jesus Christ, what a retarded concept.
>>
>Klefki, while not actually "something came to life," is associated with a SINGLE FUCKING HOTEL HAVING LOTS OF KEYS SO KLEFKI SHOWED UP.

I'm pretty sure Klefki as a concept is based on the extremely common problem of people always losing their keys.

Klefki looks very soft and malleable in its animations. I figure it can take on different shapes to hide and steal metals to feed on, but keyring became the most common shape because of humans' tendencies to lose their keys.
