Why is Normal a type at all?
Geologist here. You make me sick.
If it was up to me, we'd have three rock types: Sedimentary, Metamorphic, and Magmatic. Sedimentary would be recognized by its fast attackers with relatively low defense. Magmatic would be recognized for its tanky and slow, but hard-hitting Pokemon. Metamorphic would encompass anything in-between.
Steel types would be changed to Mineral types and would include non-metallic minerals as well.
