>tfw Pokemon will eventually come to an end
>>25871356
It's for the best.

I doubt it, actually. It keeps Nintendo/GF going at this point.
I'm 23, and I'm still buying, and enjoying Pokemon. Haven't changed since I was six.
Even better the anime is good now.

Gamefreak, yes. Nintendo, no. Nintendo does perfectly well without pokemon.

>inferior home console
>tries to shill sequels(inb4 Pikmin 4, Mario Galaxy 3, Luigi's Mansion 3)
>tight hold over mobile market because of Pokemon
Yeah Anon, you're right.
Place your bets on the final gen.
I'm guessing gen 9.
Not if I have a say in it.
Lets make Pokemon great again.
>this will be the final generation of Pokemon.
The day this comes from TPC I'll quit life.
>>25871356
i'm addicted to pokemon so honestly i can't wait. the only way i can see myself quitting this without experiencing withdrawal is if it ends.

I think they'll drop Gens altogether at some point. We'll eventually have a handheld console powerful enough to have some huge Region with all Mons, and more mons can be added via Updates.

>pokemon will end
>and so will I
I'm not ready guys
>>25871356
I'm less bothered by the idea of them no longer making pokemon. What worries me more is that they'd stop and not bother to make the hundreds of shitmons viable competitively.
I dont think it will. nintendo's core franchise characters have all gone beyond their game of origin and achieved a kind of pop culture saturation thats rare for most fictional characters.
Do you think Superman is going away anytime soon? I could see nintendo milking this for 70+ years.
