The look on Smeargle Girl's face here and throughout that episode gives her a character, adding to the immersion of the world. It really makes you root for her to see her so vulnerable.
I must admit it somewhat ruined the immersion when every girl there made it to Master Class literally 3 episodes later, despite them all trying to win a key here. There must have been at least 8 offscreen Tripokalons in those 3 episodes.
While this is not out of the realms of possiblilty, if they happen that often why wasn't the arc longer with more for Serena and her rivals to enter and make the arc less rushed?

I want to see rental DVDs or a special or some shit where we get to see some Tripokalons in their entirety. Basically watching it as if we were in the audience.
This is never going to happen, but I want a Tripokalon simulator. It would have multiple gamemodes, including Audience mode (where a randomly generated 'kon is made and you get to vote in it like in the show) and Performer mode where you actually get to go in it and compete against the performers from the show. Both Career mode for a full 3 keys+Master Class round, or a Quick Performance where you can choose who to perform against, what the theme round is and the like. This also allows for Master Class performances without needing to play through at least 3 normal ones first. Multiplayer where you compete against friends would also be a thing.
Naturally there would be an in-game website with details regarding all the performers, including the ones from the anime as well as plenty created specifically for the game. They could probably put a Pierre's Dance minigame mode in for Career mode.
Now I'm sad because I want this and it will never happen.
