That's a cute picture. Corsola is cute. It needs a regular evolution and then that needs a mega, really. Mawile and Sableye have similar BSTs, right? It doesn't have a good enough typing like those two to have a great mega (unless it turned into Water/Steel and got some crazy ability). GF probably won't ever do anything for it anyway, though.

Just give it a mega.
Give all the one-off Pokemon that never went anywhere megas.

Actually through a cross gen evo (either another coral species or a bank of Corsola like species), will gain both Eviolite and an evo that will probably have some acceptable use if it keeps its abilities.
There are no other options for it unless Light Ball, Soul Dew and other species particular items like Thick Bone, but those seem to be forgotten in the late gens.

Things like the Light Ball haven't really been used since Gen 2 sadly. We need more like that.
