I prefer when dragonite is portrayed as a more gentle pokemon. Not dopey, like Barney, nor cartoonishly-angry. Rather, like some elegant creature.
A few of the pokemon cards captured this well, the "Light Dragonite" card is coming to mind.
It's easy to make Dragonite plump and dopey because it's so rotund. Because of that, making it angry just looks ridiculous. However, the elegant Dragonite is easily the best interpretation and looks the best for the pokemon.
