In the games, do you play as your real life gender, or the opposite. Or do you switch it up each game?
For me, I pick whichever design I like better. For example

Male because I'm male. Though I got both versions with X/Y and picked Serena in Y, wasn't that bad but her team didn't feel like mine. Felt like I was controlling someone else, which is ideal for some but not for me.
