A good number of puppets would be able to stand up to OU Pokemon (JunkoS, AyaP, SakuyaP, HecatiaE, WakasagiE, etc.) and some of the puppet types would be terrifyingly strong against Pokemon (Nether would be completely unresisted, Sound would only be resisted by Flying, etc.) Not to mention competitively stuff like the Seiryuu terrain effect and the existence/availability of Smash Spin would make the competitive players have goddamn panic attacks.

That would break my heart, but I do love tactical games. I suck at them, but they're still fun..I'm just a fan of cute things in general, they are my healing.

Now you reincarnate a team of perfect S-rank puppets (leave at least one high-level puppet, probably your starter Flandre as she's already perfect, so you can grind the rest up).
This is far easier if you first do the sidequest in Great Toad's Pond and get the Rainbow MagStone, so that should be your first priority.
Catch 'em all if you haven't already.
Beat the post-game battles (take a look at your gap map, there's a new destination).

I said 'tactical' but it isn't fft or even disgaea; its more like, i dunno, monster rancher. you set postition before the combat which will determine their role- attacker, defender and support. you move groups of combatants across the map and gather mana needed to train and level up your units and build buildings. the mana is also limited.
There is also something akin to pokemon rps, but itss more of an intuative thing- green units have low spdef so they have problems with red units offensive magic, but high def so they are the best ones that can stand to blue spirits attack. blue spirits have counter magic, which can take out red spirits only strong point, but their counter is useless against black spirits...

Well, after a whole lot of fucking slacking I'm finally starting to get pieces of a whole team. Not sure when I'll be able to grab Renko though, I have no clue if she appears any earlier than Muenzuka, so I might have to grab her after Kanako.
I'm actually not sure what I want to make this flan, anyone have recommendations for what form to use? I'm torn between going FlanS and FlanP (FlanE seems rather redundant to have with YukariE). I'm slightly leaning towards FlanP, but at the same time it feels like a damn shame to waste the S in focus attack she has.

I still use her though, because unless you choose a move with a type the enemy is strong against they enemy puppet will pretty much die in one hit 90% of the time.

Speed Flan seems to have all the advantages of Power Flan without being quite as slow as her, though.
