Gen V is kind of an odd bag, there's not really a stand out super popular 'mon.

I'd say Hydreigon, Bisharp, Zoroark, Chandelure and maybe Oshawott all contend for that spot. It's definitely something I'm playing by ear, but most of those I see as generally well liked among most people, even on /vp/ surprisngly enough, despite how edgy most of them are .

I'd go with Karrablast, it looks ugly and cute at the same time, and you have to trade in order to get Escavalier which was a problem because the online trading system at the time, although it was fun.
