This is purely design wise. I like some of the yellow pokemon enough to use them on a team, but there's something about their design that keeps them out of green.
All things considered, not bad.
Now that I look back on it, there were very few Pokemon I disliked in Gen V. Probably why it's my favorite gen.
Note: I like all of the Genies' Therian Formes, just not the Incarnate Formes

Why does everyone hate Emboar/Pignite? I legitimately don't understand. Hating it's movepool or typing, whatever, but the design? The designs are top tier. Did pigs rape a lot of families?

Cobalion looks magestic, Terrakion looks rugged and Virizion looks sleek. Keldeo just looks cartoony. Also gen 5 has too many legendaries in general, it shares this trait with gen 4.

Tepig started off really cute and then Pignite was just meh and for Emboar they went full ugly. Most starters do this which is why I usually don't like their evolution lines. Fennekin was my biggest disappointment though. Its bar none the cutest starter, then it becomes a cute fox witch and I was like oh fuck yes, this is MY fucking line! Then the real final form was revealed and I felt nothing but repulsion. Why do they have to make the final evolutions of all the starters so damn ugly?

Overall, damn good. Most of the stuff I dislike is at the beginning of the dex, usually just the first route shitters that you can ignore. Gen 5 had a really interesting eco system, I love imagining how the food chain works between the pokemon in this gen the most.

Emolga, Cincinno/Mincinno, Hydreigon, Audino, Vanillite ,Munna, Gothitelle line and starters and the three musketeers and Victini and Volcarona were passable.
