XY has been surprisingly okay considering all. It was very self-contained until now that Green appeared and is now going in a brosadventure with Diantha to find Zygarde. It's the best of the three currently ongoing arcs, although that's not saying much.

There are almost always two series running at once. When there isn't, you get two chapters of the same series running in different magazines (for example, in BW, one magazine started with chapter 1 and the other started with chapter 4, then the first magazine skipped to 7 after 3). Three chapters really isn't that big of a stretch, since the chapters are pretty short for a monthly series.

It's alright, I enjoyed it but some people might not. There are a lot of battles though but some arcs aren't well written (like Emerald and ORAS) and sometimes it's edgier than what you normally see in pokemon.

I didn't like him in the original GSC arc, but I enjoy that they are trying to add depth to his character by emphasising his lack of a childhood & how it links to his relationship with Gold. I like how he breaks into gold's house to watch Proteam Omega.
My favourite is probably Dia. I find that he is a refreshing change to the typical head-strong protagonists that were in every other arc & the comedy routines are really enjoyable to read. I also really like that Rotom joined his team, that dynamic was great.
