FS shinies are 1/512. Normal shinies are 1/4,096. Catch yourself a real shiny and then come back, scrub.

No, I've found plenty of shinies in the friend safari and I've even found some normally in the wild outside of the friend safari. And in previous gens where the shiny rate wasn't easy mode. Nice try kiddo.

Not that anon, but fuck off. You wouldn't deny having the slightest shred of excitement of finding one, especially if it meant going for something else, like getting a certain pokemon for egg moves or something but bumping into a shiny along the way.
I still wish I could get a shiny when I actually wanted one so that it could have good IVs. Once found a shiny Shelgon in friend safari, but it was fairly useless. And once when I started breeding Aerodactyl I hatched a shiny first batch so it had the right nature and nothing else.

I've found quite a few shiny pokemon without Mming or chaining of any sort.
First one ever was a sentrey way back in pokemon gold. Didn't really know what a shiny was back then and I just caught it because I didn't have one. I later found out about it on a Nintendo Power.
Next shiny was a zubat in FireRed on Mt Moon, followed closely by a Goldeen some trainer had on Trainer Tower.
Then came a Poochyena on Sapphire, first wild Pokemon i could catch on that game. And a Drowzee just exiting that forest before Whitney on SS.
Save the first Sentret, I still have them all. Haven't found a Shiny on ORAS or X&Y yet.
