I'm making a team for the Battle Tower in Crystal.
At the moment, I'm breeding a Magmar that's going to have Cross Chop and a Fire move, I haven't decided which one yet. I'm also bringing a Starmie with Surf/Thunderbolt/Ice Beam/Psychic.
Do you have any suggestions for a third Pokémon that would complement Magmar and Starmie well? Also, what other moves could Magmar use to good effect?

Maybe ground Pokemon with Earthquake (e.g. Piloswine or Nidoking)? It could cover Starmie's weakness and vice versa.
