It's supposed to be a Faberge egg though. The ears reference the fact that Faberge eggs are easter eggs.You'll be able to find Magearna by using strength to move a well-hidden truck, making it a literal easter egg.

Your mentality of 'it has unecessary patterns and details' is ignorant and questionable. After all, maybe -- just maybe -- those 'unnecessary and extra patterns' are in fact necessary to the design of that Pokemon.

Times have changed and Pokemon designs have advanced. We aren't stuck with the technological limitations any more, Anon. Pokemon designs are capable of being more creative now.
