Do you like Humans enough to love your Trainer if you were a Pokémon?
>>

They would have to be the right person. I cannot include all humans in that, just some humans.
>>
Depends on if I'm capable of intelligent thought.
>>
>>25832192

Depends on what kind of Pokemon I was, I guess. Along with what kind of trainer I was matched up with. A Pokemon wouldn't need to like humans overall to like their specific trainer.

Okay then the obvious question is what Pokémon would you be with what kind of Trainer?
>>
Just let me be and I'm fine. I know one thing: I am not battling.

A tyrantrum with a little girl for a trainer.

Sounds like you'd be best with a Coordinator, not a Trainer.

Porygon-Z, preferably with a Super Nerd or someone else who actually understood computers. I don't take orders from an idiot, and since I'd be made out of computer code, a tech-illiterate person would definitely fall under "idiot", even if wise beyond his years in all other respects.

Realistically, what would Gardevoir's actual reaction be to you popping a boner when hugging it?

You're its trainer. At best, it would not mind bad intentions because of the whole protect-you-at-all-costs shit. At worst it'd be like popping a boner into your dog or something.
>>
>>25835762
Considering they're telepathic, I'd say this has more implications than what a dog thinks.

I would be overprotective of them.
Probably go full "my trainer can do no wrong."
>>
>>25832192
I'd trust in them seeing myself more as a servant or a soldier than a friend, because I'm fated to do whatever they say. Often I would be asked to do things against my will, but that's life, you can't do everything you want.
An underling must fulfill his duty with the best of his ability.

How could I love someone who forces me to fight for no reason and traps me inside a ball?
>>
>>25836206

From what we can tell, pokemon seem to find battling fun.

Plus you can't deny the trainer-pokemon bonds that exist
>>
>>25836232
I feel like poke balls are brainwashing devices
>>
>>25836256

What about the pokemon that don't live in pokeballs? What about N's pokemon, who he technically isn't even the trainer of?

I'd love having a qt-rainer as my master.
I'd fight to make her proud.
She'd love me and I'd love her, as a friend, partner in battle, and after some time, as a taboo lover.

I just hope we can figure out some better ways to communicate.
>>
>>25836461

Well if you're a psychic type you can just read her mind
>>

well, i already like people, so i think so, yea.
but depending on what kind of trainer they are, i might not respect them.
doesn't mean i wouldn't love my trainer

Reminder: the pokeball is not a containment device. If it was, it wouldn't have a chance to fail. Free will is also still a given since they can still disobey. (though why they cannot leave is a puzzle to me. I shall have to do more research)
>>
>>25837469
They can leave their balls when they want it's just balls are comfy
Luxury balls are the ones that brainwash
>>
>>25839017
I would like to know where in the games it says that. As for Luxury Ball, I'm sure they can still disobey. The type of ball has no bearing on that, not even the Master Ball.
>>
>>25839043
Mons don't leave their balls ingame for player convenience. In the anime and mangas it shows the ball doesn't trap the mon at all and they can leave anytime they please. Ref: Misty's Psyduck and Jessie's Wobbuffet have a running gag about coming out of their pokeballs at inopportune times; Ash's Froakie ditched several rookie trainers and kept returning to the lab because it kept getting stuck with shitters
>>
>>25832192
If I was Ash's Pokemon I'd suck his dick, no homo.
>>
>>25839102
And yet, the Master Ball still exists in the anime. I'm not sure about the manga. This is the only true capture device and if I were to believe the lore, then it's use should be unethical. It truly overrides a pokemon's will. Otherwise, one cannot cross canons. The anime is no explanation of the game, nor is anything else an explanation of anything other than itself. It does not count.
>>
Yes but only if she's a qt. I would love her very much.
>>
>>25839151
The Master Ball exists in Adventures, yes, though iirc it's only been used on Mewtwo before.

said mewtwo's basically roaming free now
>>

>>
>>25836206

Pokemon can leave their pokeballs at will, they aren't trapped. The pokeballs themselves are also implied to be very comfortable.
>>
>>25839907
It says that nowhere in the game that I know of.
>>
>>25839952

Pikachu refused to stay in its pokeball in Pokemon Yellow despite having been caught, which means it actually had a choice in the matter. The most recent descriptions of the Luxury Ball call it "particularly comfy", so it can be assumed that regular pokeballs provide the pokemon with at least a modicum of comfort.
>>
>>25839979
I am sorry. Despite any attempt to have the benefit of the doubt, I cannot trust something that is so inconsistent that it might as well not exist.

>What exactly happens inside of a Pokéball? Is there a home in there? Is there food in there? And can humans go in a Pokéball?

>Masuda: It sure would be interesting if Pokéballs existed in real life, and we haven’t imagined that. But, in terms of what’s inside of the Pokéball, it’s a space that’s incredibly comfortable for Pokémon. So comfortable, that they want to enter the Pokéball without any sort of outside encouragement. What’s actually in there is something we would like for people to sort of imagine on their own. In terms of whether humans can enter the Pokéball or not, it’s called a Pokéball, so probably not. I think it’s just for Pokémon.

i would be arceus, i would only accept Red asv my trainer. or i would want to be a machamp with a hot trainer that i would rape all of the time with my cock(s) How many cocks does a machamp have?
>>

I'm afraid I have to include Gamefreak on this, too. They have said things that the game deliberately contradicts.
>>
>>25840037

>>
>>25840077

It's okay to just admit you're wrong and want to keep to your own personal edgy headcanon where Pokemon are enslaved and trapped inside cramped uncomfortable spaces against their will anon, nobody will judge you.
>>
>>25840117
That isn't what I believe for anything but the Master Ball. That is only thing I question on that matter. For something to even have the POTENTIAL to override something's will should be enough to be considered unethical.

The rest isn't really the ball's doing, but the person itself. Forcing something to fight when they have no reason to fight.
>>
>>25840153

Pokemon enjoy fighting for trainers.

If you truly believed they have intelligence, and thus a variety of personalities, then you wouldn't say that. There are pokemon that like fighting, true, but not all of them. They will only fight if they have to.

not that anon, but holy fuck that's adorable
>>
>>25840195
Pokemans are pre-programmed to have complete and unquestioned servitude to their master. It's why trainers can even exist.
>>
>>25840153
It's not about will. Pokemon run on the old Japanese belief of "you defeated me, thus I respect you".
>>
>>25840195

But they do. This was a recurring plot point raised in Pokemon Black/White, that fighting with a trainer promotes a stronger bond between the two parties.

If you still won't accept that, then at the very least all of YOUR Pokemon, in every single one of the games, enjoys fighting. At no point are you ever forcing them to do something they don't want to do.
>>
>>25840260

To add on, keep in mind that pokemon start off generally not liking the trainer in-game unless you used that one type of pokeball (which I think symbolizes you want to be friends more than anything). Liking someone and respecting their power is 2 different things, but you can grow to like someone over time, like pokemon do with the friendship system.

Spare me your support of this garbage. I indeed refuse to accept it, and thus why I don't play this series anymore. It only makes me more angry that it's borne of Japanese muckery. No. For me, it will never be right. If it's of any solace to you, I was truly defeated by the person that insisted that this is a game. Unfortunately, that means that you're not right either. A program does not possess feelings.

Even if you want to believe that the pokemon wanted to be captured, what is up with the capture process anyway? They shouldn't put up a struggle and just auto-capture.
