Either way we're fucked. Another sun would cook us and cause no life to ever form on Earth. Another moon would wipe out all life on Earth until things settle down. Eventually, Moon-two will just smash into Moon-one and wipe out all life again for a second armageddon.
Both plans are shittier than Aqua and Magma's in terms of error to see the consequences.
