Sorry, bug type is the scapegoat for shitty type matchups and making other types better.

I don't really mind Fairy resisting bug, even when I was little, Bug types were never really my thing. (Even now, don't expect anything other than Scizor, Heracross or Volcarona from me), but I can understand why some people are upset.

I'd be fine with Fairy keeping the bug resistance, but I wouldn't have minded Bug resisting it in turn.

I think it's fine as it is.

It seem that they went two way with fairy type: cute pink thing (Slurpuff,Sylveon) and nature protector ( Xerneas,Florges) so maybe the bug resistance is to show that they protect nature so grass type from the thing that want to eat them.
