These are the currently unused type combinations. While we wait for more information on Sun/Moon, I thought it'd be fun to speculate on which of these type combos will make it into the new games.
Tell us which combos you think will get in and why. If you're feeling creative, come up with a design (draw it or write it out) for the type combo. Preferably stick with new Pokemon, but new megas and alternate forms are also ok.
I want a Normal/Ghost, a Grass/Fire and a Fairy/Bug.
The first maybe based on urban stories or such a ghost with many human aspects. The second it's obviously the sunflora evolution (or mega, if they feel lazy), the third would be a gracious moth.
Poison / Fire would be a manticore, Pyroar's evolution.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Mega Dunsparce getting Dragon Rush and Dragon Pulse. The wings become oversized and feathery, the barbells get long and furry, the tail becomes long and the drill sharpens, and the head grows bigger teeth.

Artificial legendary, basically Mewtwo but created to simply destroy everything rather than battle. Big metal hulk with tanks of toxic chemicals all over its body. Signature move is a 100BP, 100Acc physical Poison-type move that always inflicts Toxic. Ability: Destruction Heal, recovers 25% of all damage it deals. Offensively oriented, with the kind of stat distribution you'd expect from Deoxys-A, but with less SpAtk and more Spe.

Legendary based on the myths of Gaia and suchlike, box counterpart to the above. Basically looks like a big hunk of earth just stood up with the body plan of a gorilla and glowing blue eyes. Signature move is Ground-type, special, 80BP, traps the victim and heals the user for 50% of the damage done each turn. Ability: Eternal Growth, Leftovers recovery without the Leftovers. Defensive enough to take a Mega Fug Blizzard to the face and yawn, and that's while being mostly physically defensive. Slow as fucking mud, but has a fair SpAtk to make up for it.
