Honestly OP get ORAS if you're gonna IV breed and Shiny hunt post game. If you're in it for the story listen to the B2W2 anons. That's one of the things Gen V got right. And ORAS is pretty much copy/paste story, which is to be expected of a remake.

XY wasn't bad, but mediocre as fuck. Definitely worth at least one playthrough though.
Get BW1 though, m9 and play that first. Then BW2 then XY. Steer clear of ORAS, I'm tellin ya.

XY and muh incompatibilities with mega pidgeot, mega Hoenn starters, mega Gallade, Mega Garchomp, Diancie, Mega Rayquaza, and Primal Legendaries. OP won't get the most out of XY because of its compatibility issues.
BW2 was way more fun than BW in my opinion
buy white / black 2 then get a flashcart / emulate blaz black 2 or wahtever the white version is, just got back into pokemon 4 weeks ago from taking a break from gen IV, played all of them up to oras the white 2 has been my favourite, and the challange mode nuzlocke is ball brekaingly brutal. just my 2cents
