Smogon is a million times better than VGC which is retardedly overcentralized. But obviously a group (smogon) whose whole intention is creating the optimal battle experience is gonna be better at making battle rules than just a company for making money, Nintendo.

Doubles battles are fun too. I like how there's no stall in doubles. Just VGC is bad. Too overcentralized. And I really don't like the picking 4 out of 6 Pokemon, why can't you just use all 6? I think that adds in way too much luck and limited amount of plays someone can make.
