Battle Spot sucks because you can only use 3 Pokemon
Passersby never want to battle
And any match I do get is hardly any fun because everyone uses the same handful of Pokemon who are all pseudo legendaries or legendaries or Megas.

Step 1. Try battlespot and bitch about it for the reasons you listed and because so many children who play battlespot use legendaries.
Step 2. Play an online simulator so you can bitch about them having clauses and bans to make the meta not complete garbage.
Step 3. Finally, switch to VGC and bitch that every team uses the same few mons.
That's how you have fun playing pokemon competitively because competitive is the only way to enjoy pokémon! Don't forget to inject everything so you don't have to actually play the games that you claim to enjoy!
