Apparently, nothing much has happened, which is odd. Considering this is supposed to happen across a set of feature length entries, I would think that things would be more condensed. The only other matter from what I see is that it is working more on the lore that happened in later incarnations, which makes it pretty unrecognizable, save if you want to focus on the 2nd movie alone. There could be interesting things ahead, but I must say if after 2 entries, they haven't gotten their act together, then I wouldn't have much hope, either. They would've been better off making a new series than relying on nostalgia.

Well, I don't mind the tone shift, it's to be expected and makes perfect sense, but I was more about the design aesthetic. This is not the Digimon you once knew, and it shows, and I think that it's jarring to fans of the original. I don't mind because I'm familiar with it.
