Why the fuck is it the only Pokemon you can soar with? Yeah yeah, they don't feel like animating every flying Pokemon. Fine. Let me Soar on any Mega that can learn Fly at least.

Is it really that hard to implement soaring without needing to own Lati@s? You use the flute anyway and don't even need it in your party. It could just agree to fly you after you save it, then you can capture it later on in an encounter.
They really just fucked it up.
Before the game dropped, I was expecting an XY repeat; you encounter latios/latias in the wild after beating the elite four, it runs away before you can do anything, you chase it to 10 random locations and then finally encounter it in Southern Island, where you battle it and catch it, then soaring is unlocked.
