I would've gone with Archen if Archeops didn't look like a disgrace of an evolution. It's not nearly as bad as Armaldo, but it's pretty disappointing.

The trainer was an early version of Morty and the other, Whitney. His Pokémon were featured as an early Tyranitar and that, both would have been Dark type, and that's clearly shown by PreMorty's dark clothing. That thing turned into Hitmontop, but Whitney still kept the Normal type thing, and Morty became a Ghost type gym leader. It's all in an interview somewhere, lemme look for it. Brb.
