Gen 6 is mostly an issue with the 3D Models, the Pokemon would have to be recreated using sprites and quite a few people from what I can see use Gen 6 Pokemon in these threads. It'd be especially time consuming if said hack was B/W or BW2 where the sprites move and have subtle animations.

When I was monitoring the thread, interested in joining, I know they were trying to find a way to get groups together to get something going. As far as I know they just update pastebins that are journals. The chatroom was usually pretty quiet. It's too bad things like that don't take off.

Yeah, that Pokemon Destruction site for years and years ago was like that. Mostly a /v/ thing that ended up on it's own site, involved stuff like Team Sinister which was like a Team Rocket type thing with Dark, Poison, Bug, etc. Pokemon, and then you had like Team Justice or something that was like Steel, Water, Fire, etc. And it was 4 teams (last team had Normal/Flying since that was so broad) and you made teams and RP'd based on that and secondary types counted for your team.
It was definitely an interesting gimmick way back when, but it suffered from typical RP problems with the userbase. Don't know what ever happened to it, but I know they did come back to /v/ every now and then to try to recruit some more people and talk about it. I know they used to use I think it was Smogon's old battle program during Gen 4 to determine fights and stuff, pretty neat stuff.
