A defense-trained Chansey with Eviolite actually has pretty respectable defensive capabilities thanks to its huge HP pool. Not that you should be leaving it in on physical attackers if at all possible, of course, but it does ease prediction somewhat. This is the big appeal of Chansey over Blissey.
