You shouldn't put things in a map without reason. Why do you have currents around the rock? They don't serve a purpose. Also the outline is way too square, maybe change up the shape of the shore where the cave is, also too square.

But, I do want to compliment the color choices. It looks like the type of town I would remember visiting during a play-through.

Still too uniform. If the currents don't take you to an otherwise inaccessible area, then you may as well remove them. If you want them to stay, you should put another island with an item or some tall grass in your map and make it only reachable through a current-maze.
