The game will be set in pokemon world equivalent to the Pacific Northwest. Some of the new pokemon (including the legendaries) will be loosely based off of American folklore and Native American legends. Also there will be subtle Twin Peaks references (and less than subtle ones shoehorned in by the localization team).
