Not really, a lot of Amiibo content was either added in as a patch or is completely unrelated to the game content and was made specifically with the Amiibo in mind. In other words they wouldn't exist at all without the associated Amiibo.

The problem with listening to the fans is that they all don't share the same views.
For all we know, the results that were taken into account only made up 15% but the rest were individually less than that so when SS was made the ones that weren't taken into account came together to complain making 85% of the fanbase mad. If that makes sense.

Not him, but Nintendo has done dlc...just not retarded or sneaky like most companies. This includes Namco. Hyrule Warriors and Splatoon have had awesome dlc. Fates has been one of the few Nintendo games that abuse the dlc thing.
Dlc isnt a bad idea. Just companies like Namco are depending on it too much, instead of having the game sell the dlc.

People get through that shit in like 10 hours of their 500 hours with each game, so stop putting all your effort into the narrative and actually give worthwhile post-game content that will last that 490 hours.

That's false. Longer combos always deal more damage. Every bit counts in a fighting game. Yes some moves get scaled a lot, but that's to keep damage under control, and your combo is still stronger for using them. There is no downside unless you waste your super like a fool.
