So basically, these threads have just become:

Sure, there are designs that edgy kids would enjoy, but that doesn't make the Pokémon inherently (look mom I used the buzz word again) bad. I would not be surprised if the people complaining either have no idea how to edit these (not hard lol), or have even worse taste.
Also, a lot of these have pretty saturated color palettes. It's an nice change from all the pastels, not that there's anything wrong with pastels.

Green and purple just seems to obvious for Spirtomb. It's nice to see spirit orbs being a different color than purple/green/blue, and the red has a nice fading to it from center to edge of the orbs. Along with the keystone, it looks like magma based.

From left to right, top to bottom: Deep cave glowing mushroom is comfy, not enough teal in gen 1 so a nice change, much more exotic, fall leaves are comfy, hot pink complements the softer design, tropical plant look is exciting, mud is an obvious but creative use of the shape, give it a early-age 3D design look, matching color schemes for the line works and for the fish types, a more slate blue with cyan is one of my favorite combinations, I love the idea of keeping the main color the same while significantly changing an accent color.
