To those saying that Sun and Moon are new games or Kalos sequels, you're both wrong. Sun and Moon are sequels to Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. It would make more sense to continue with Zinnia's story and expand upon what we got in OR/AS. Hoenn just doesn't feel complete without the Battle Frontier, and those new Zygarde forms look very similar to Rayquaza, who is also a green Dragon-type. There is definitely a connection between them. Also, Magearna could be connected to Metagross in some way, as they're both robot Pokémon.
