hahah excuse me, the way I remember it going was that the other guys at least had the sense to split up from the protag and try to help the poor Pokemon about to be sacrificed on route 10; meanwhile Calem continued being an useless piece of shit who hung around you trying to retain some presence and relevance and whose main claim to fame ended up being your personal healslut, and even that was kinda unneeded.
