After B2W2, I don't see why anyone would act so certain of what GF plans to do in games. They've already shown that they're willing to subvert the patterns and go against expectations, so why bother predicting anything? Just wait for official sources before saying it's gen 6 or 7.

If the majority of /vp/ thinks it's gen 7, then it's not gen 7. It's been the case for Grey version, the denial of Fairy-type, Ruby Sapphire remakes the list goes on.

How is pic related a "meme"? The colors match up way too well for this to be some kind of coincidence. Plus, the mere existence of Zygarde's new forms which are still unobtainable should make it pretty obvious that he'll play some role in Sun and Moon, be it in the main game or the postgame. You would have to be stupid to think that S/M won't have considerable storyline ties to XY.
Granted, as it stands right now I don't think Sun/Moon are really going to be Gen 6.5, but I can understand where they're coming from. Instead I expect it to be more like what Gen 2 was to Gen 1, with Kalos in the postgame like GSC had Kanto. With Pokemon Bank existing and Sun and Moon being confirmed to work with it, I wouldn't be surprised if two-way transfer via Bank if not via direct trades worked between SM and XY along the lines of the Time Capsule as long as you're not sending over any stuff that doesn't exist yet.

My thoughts on the colors, is it's gradient. Darker colors becoming lighter.
If it went. Blue, red, white, blue, orange it would be more believable. But as it stands it's just the colors moving to the center to become white.
I think if you are despirate for a gen 6.5 think of it this way.
We have no reason to remake DPPT since those games already work on the 3ds/N3ds. So they might Make Z as the side game.
I always thought the remakes were because the old games don't work on the newer systems but i could be wrong.
