BW2 was objectively superior in every aspect except story (and you no longer give a shit about the story in any game after you've played it once). Anyone who disagrees probably doesn't even like what makes a Pokemon game a Pokemon game.

I prefer the story and protagonist designs of BW, but I like the additional content that BW2 offered. I'm hoping in the distant future if they ever remake the gen 5 games that they'll just combine the two and make all of BW2's story and features the post-game content for BW.
