I'm currently playing through Black 2, and my current team is Emboar, Magnezone, Lilligant, and Vibrava. I'm looking for a water type, and I'm between Walrein and Jellicent. I also need a sixth man. I don't want to go with a dark type if I choose Walrein, because that leaves me with three fighting weaknesses.
Jellicent is great. Go with him. Also they're pretty late into the game but I'm pretty sure you can get Mamoswine or Weavile if you want an Ice type.

Jellicent is a solid choice for a Water type. For a sixth mon, I think either a Crobat or a Drapion would do you well.
