ITT: We predict what kind of gimmickmon will be in Sun/Moon.
This can be anything - something gimmicky about the way they evolve, their moveset, their typing, their forms, their design... anything that makes them special/remarkable when compared to others.
Pokemon that changes form depending on whether its day or night I think is the most likely.

Anyways to answer the question I think a Pokemon having to evolve via you saying stuff into the mic when it's past a certain level during a battle. Or another Mother/Healing like Pokemon who evolves via laying x amount of eggs or heal others in battle. Idk if I got this thread topic correctly lol oops

A pokemon that changes body type depending on weather.
Water pokemon.
If it's hailing it's ice/water [ice form]
if it's raining or regular weather it's pure water [water form]
if it's sandstorming it's ground/water [mud form]
it it's super sunny it's fire/water [vapor form]
Stats also change.
Ice form has higher atk
Water has higher speed
Mud has higher defense
Vapor has more evasion or higher spe atk or wtv.

A Pokemon that only evolves when its trainer is sufficiently fashionable.
A Pokemon with a perfectionist personality that only evolves when all of its EVs are filled.
Pokemon Sun will have a Gourgeist-like Pokemon based on the sun, but instead of different sizes, you get a red giant version, a white dwarf version, a yellow version, and a black hole version.
Pokemon Moon will also have a Gourgeist-like Pokemon, except based on the moon with full, blue, waxing, and waning versions (you can only catch them when the actual moon in your region corresponds to their type.
Pokemon Sun and Moon will also have version exclusive legendaries based on solar and lunar eclipses respectively, and you will only be able to catch them during a solar/lunar eclipse.
2 types of pokemon.
One for sun and one for moon. Same stats same everything. (Different typing probably)
The gimmick is that the Sun pokemon is at it's weakest at midnight and at it's strongest at noon.
That means that right after midnight in game time, it's stats keep growing and growing until full potential at noon. Then after noon they fall and fall until it's midnight.
The opposite for the moon pokemon.

A Pokemon that can be of any type, and it's ability hide which type he is from the other player.
So you never know what will be effective or resisted until you start attacking.
A three-type Pokémon. But it won't actually HAVE three types, it will be a dual type with a new special ability that adds a third type to it under specific conditions. It could be a held item like Arceus' plates, or tracing the opponent's primary type etc.
GameFreak already experimented with triple types in Gen 6 by introducing moves that add a new type to any Pokémon, specifically the moves Forest Curse and Trick-or-Treat. They were preparing us for a mon with a triple type gimmick.
