When I saw Mawile for the first time I liked it was the only Pokemon that it's back sprite showed its face, but I was a bit disappointed that it was a shitmon. Now it has a Mega and is one of the best Pokemon available.
Either a Scyther or a Scizor has been on every competitive team I've fielded since Gen 1. Bullet Punch, who art buffed by Technician, hallowed be thy name.

Scyther is awesome, then he gets a cool evo in gen2, then a cool ability in gen 3, then cool moves in gen4, then cool items in gen5, and now a mega in gen6.
What will gen7 bless us scizor fans with? Only time will tell...
