Dragonite don't get pissed off easily, they just slapped on a Rash nature and completely destroyed Dragonite's dex lore for the sake of a story arc.
But this isn't the first time anyway. The anime made Dragonite prone to fits of rage as a lazy plot device.

Yes retard, the official game descriptions of Pokemon. Dragonite are kind-hearted and altruistic, the opposite of being retconned into easily triggered Incredible Hulks because muh Dragon types are hard to control plot devices.

In the anime it is possible for pokemon to have different mental behavior from their norms and these insane pokemon are usually the ones owned by the protagonist. For example Ash's Buisel is unusually arrogant and prideful.
To be fair, Outrage used to be Dragonite's signature move.
