I was never big on Adventures but man it's really gone downhill lately. I read some of XY and ORAS and they were not great. Can't imagine doing so many arcs at once helps with the quality.

The last time I read up on ORAS chapters was a long while ago, but doesn't ORAS already involve Hoopa in the story? And the games (well, Zinnia) already made mention of parallel universes and shit, so isn't it completely possible for these Maxie/Archie to be alt universe versions somehow flung into the main PokeSpe world? It's not out of the question for a comic series to bring back the very same characters through an asspull, but both of the original Maxie and Archie were still pretty fucking dead
