That said Megas have had more benefits than actual evolutions, for one you don't have to give up your bro for a design you might not like and two they've made more BST changes than evolutions before them. Mawile went from being one of the weakest pokemon in the game to the strongest after all, evolutions aren't necessary for all of the pokemon that got megas.

Not really, it's possible to beat megas without using one yourself fairly easily especially since they don't have the benefit of an item.
The only thing that's particularly bad about them is Mega Ray and it's banned in both Smogon tiers and VGC.

Am I the only one who absolutely loves both of Kyurem's fused forms?
Base Kyurem was fucking garbage, especially the way it stood. These were vast improvements, and I really dig the look. It screams "unholy abomination" to me. The tubes really make the look come together.
