Has there ever been any kind of chart for what generations and games can communicate/trade with each other?
Like, is there any chain that could get my Pokemon from the Crystal GB cartridge onto anything past second gen? Can I get the pokemon on my Ruby GB cartridge up to my sixth gen?

You can pal park/trade any pokemon from gen 3 up to oras.
