YOu know what really bothers me? That Alakazam and Gengar gets a Mega Evolution, but Golem and Machamp not, they are, at least for me, in the same category, the original Trade Evolutioners.

Golem should probably emerge from its shell and go a Mega Diancie route, but full physical and with an ability that makes it worth using. If it just gets bulkier, Rhyperior outclasses it.

Maybe its ability could be that if it comes in/Mega Evolves on Stealth Rock or Spikes or comes in on a Rock or Ground type attack, they're cleared/it takes no damage and its Def gets +1. People would have reason to overlook the Rock/Ground typing since it's great at clearing hazards and immune to Ground.
As for Machamp,

Machamp is already OP to Honchkrow and no one still likes Golem
I would love a Machamp Mega especially if itsfight/ghost with more arms.
Id rather they buff Machamp through moveset additions and buffs and stat redistro. A mega has to absolutely great since you compete for onr slot plus they may fuck up the design
