Pokemon is a global wide franchise. Medabots became a niche Japanese franchise. Being a niche Japanese franchise, Medabots can easily get away with that in its own country for obvious reasons.
Pokemon, however, has a lot more going against that very notion. It is a franchise built to appeal to a broader audience. Even if they did, for some ungodly reason, decide to do what you want, these things would more than likely be edited out in localization and changed.

However, I do not think that by just adding 'waifus' to a game, it actually makes it better. What it does is artificially does so by bringing in more people just for needles T&A, and not for any potential game play or its own merits.
