How would you feel if Pokemon Sun and Moon scrapped the turn based battle system and switched to a Pokken style fighting mode?
That would mean they'd have to make a ~800 character roster for Pokken. As opposed to the current 14.
So yeah, I'd feel happy about it. It'll never fucking happen, though.

I actually fucking love when fighting gameplay is mixed with strategy mechanics. In a perfect world, this would be great.
However, itd be fucking impossible and would raise a countless number of issues that it's not even worth considering.

I would like it however if the turn-based battles were presented in a more "dynamic" manner (RPGs like KOTOR pull this off).
There would be no new competitive scene since everyone would stick to X/Y

Anything beyond an ATB bar final fantasy style or button inputs Mario rpg style and I'd hate it.
