Are there any mons that you hated/despised before but now they are among your favorites?
For me it was Scrafty, I absolutely hated his design at first, but he really grew up to me.

I always thought it standed out way too much from the other Eeveelutions with the weird body shape and creepy blue eyes, but once I got the games I realized how much of a powerhouse the Fairy typing is and how Sylveon was actually one of the best in-game Pokemon I've ever used. I also learned to appreciate the ribbons once I saw its model in-gameok, Sylveon X Hydreigon shipping pictures helped too
