I feel kind of bad for using her because Fire Blast is a huge crutch for me. I've only won 1 battle of the 5 I played online, too. I kind of want to try Pika Libre but I'm most comfortable with Braixen still.

Before jumping straight into the single player or online, you'll definitely want to spend a lot of time in the Tutorial and Practice Mode. Sceptile is a character that requires spacing in order to use his attacks effectively. This is a good video to watch as well.
